i should have said "they can be". gcdmaster uses cdrdao to burn the disk
in "disk-at-once" mode, so it is your responsibility to meet Red Book
standards in setting up the TOC.

this is contrast to cdrecord, which is almost always used in "track-at-
once" mode, and enforces Red Book standards itself.

i am not familiar enough with setting things up for cdrdao/gcdmaster to
comment on your question.
