[ardour-users] Newbie help with dynamics in Ardour...

Okay, so I checked to make sure "run plugins while recording" was
on, and it was. I played around with some other things, but got
more confused.

:-(

Does anyone live near Harrisburg, PA that could give me some
lessons on ardour? I know it's a great piece of software, but
I just am not having much luck.

Well .. Jamin is good for limiting and all sorts of post processing. :)

Yes.

You need to go to options and set "run plugins while recording" on, to make
plugins run while you are recording.

On the other hand though, when you're done with a project so that you want
the output "out" from ardour you should do an "export". By exporting you can
set a number of parameters for the output file.
