[ardour-users] Q: newbie and 1st Q // 2

I have 3 machines running NVidia (2&3)chipsets and wouldn't change them
for anything.

I run 3 x Midiman Midisport 2x4's, 3 x C-Ports (ice1712) @ 128/2 with <5
ms latency with custom Gentoo 2.6.12 and they are running 6 days a week
in full production mode (Audio-Midi-Video playback). 

If that is what you want to do then I recommend them as before. USB is
VIA (like a lot of mainboards!)regardless of other I/O chipsets and they
perform flawlessly.  

That's my recommendation.
