Am I the only one that really thinks "why can't you have your cake and eat
it too?", Why not do this.
Being a LONG TIME web developer I suggest Aurour opens a forum located at
http://forum.ardour.org/ using SMFF, IPB, vBulletin or whatever and then
gets a Mailing list plugin, (provided that it exists)
Think of it this way, you could have your form account and every time a post
is made on a specific board "The Recording Room" for example, then daily the
new topics + posts get emailed eh?
I'm not quite sure if this type of integration has already been established
with forums, but I personally think it'd be a great way for archiving and
giving everyone what they want.
