There is a button on many forums that will give you a rundown of the
latest threads that you have not looked at yet.  That way you can
easily keep up to date.  Think of it as a "lazy person's" button.

Or just get everything automatically emailed to you anyway.

Why doesn't someone just start a forum somewhere, and if it takes off,
it takes off.  The people who want to join it will make it as good as
they can, the people who want the list can still use it.
