there is a design problem in this dialog in that it does make it clear
that you *must* fill out the name of the exported soundfile; Ardour only
provides the name of the default folder for it, *not* the filename. this
is then compounded by it not checking properly that it was filled out,
and causing problems when things fails.

fill out the filename and you should be fine.
