[ardour-users] Recording seems fine, playback not at all

asound is powerfull source of information, thank you. I have the card -
Roland Edirol UA-20 bought 2 years ago, it IS supported by ALSA, I have been
working iwth it on SUSE LINUX 9.0 (i386), so no problem there, looking what
asound says, everything seems fine, doesn't it?
What follows is couple of logs from /proc/asound tree:
