[ardour-users] hide track but not automation?

greetings!

it looks like there's no way to keep a track's automation panel (with  
waveform display) visible, but hide the track's main waveform/region  
display. is this correct?

when i've got my region edits done, and am just dealing with mix  
automation, i would like to eliminate the double display of waveforms for  
each track (region display AND automation display). it looks like the best  
you can do is make the region area height "smallest".

any ideas on this?
