[ardour-users] Ardour Crashing/hangs on Range selection

Hi
I seem to get a few crashes on Ardour
when I 'm setting the range to cut  part of a track.
IE:
part of a drum track will need to be moved so I select range, then 
highlight the range,
but on hitting cut I get a hang and have to close Ardour down.
Is there any log files I can look at to send you feedback on.
I'm using the latest ardour on Debian Using Fervent software.
