Because you need 'jackd -d alsa -d hw:0 -r 44100', note the -r.

I recommend that you use qjackctl to start JACK anyway, for ease
of use (which I see that you have used below).  It seems like
you've tried a bunch of stuff, and it wasn't entirely clear what
real problems you are still having... or what questions you need
answering...
