	If you're using hardware monitoring you don't need to worry about
latency.  Latency is only an issue if you can't use hardware monitoring
or you're trying to use your box for real time effects.  When recording
I set Frames/Period to 2048 (max for ice1712) because I am monitoring
with hardware (no latency).  To run this way just use envy24control to
set H/W Out 1 and 2 to Digital Mix L and R.  You get no effects but you
also get very few xruns.  If you can stand to hear yourself sing dry
this isn't a problem ;-)
