I have 10.0 Community with the updates running on a Shuttle AK39N with
Athalon XP 2600, Via chipset, 512MB DDR, etc. No problems to speak of.
You can pick up this mobo / cpu combo for around $135.00 US if you shop
around. The Realtek built in sound chip even works fairly well with
Jack.
