Hello everyone,

can someone tell how it is possible to do the following things on 
ardour? (I'm losing my head in trying to understand them!)

1. How can I fade in and out a track destructively? (no automation-based)

2. Is there a way to equalize stereo tracks? (Steve's Multiband is 
one-channel only, and I get about 100% cpu usage using two mono tracks 
and two plugins, which is a killer for my p3 600 with my poor cs9624 
audio card...)

3. Eeehm... how do inserts and sends work? (ok, ok, if this is too much 
I'll just brain out myself to find out)

4. How can I set the length of a session? (in order to export a session 
which has a standard length, not having to stop it manually when the 
tracks end)
