[ardour-users] qjackctl

Hi , I am running jack0.94.0-1, ardour 0.9-114, qjackctl 0.2.5-1 on suse 9.0

After starting qjackctl and then starting ardour ...ardour comes with the msg "can not connect to jack"
when I start jack with "jack -R -d alsa hw:0 -p 2048  I have no problems running Ardour
I am aware that the startup option for jack in qjackctl are different.

What causes the problem with qjackctl???  Do I have non-matching versions? which version are recommended?
