For what it's worth, I have an Evolution USB/MIDI keyboard controller
with a bunch of knobs (8 of them, I think) and a couple of sliders, and
it works extremely well. It was detected and worked from the moment I
plugged it in. All of the bits just seem to come together, and all of
my Linux MIDI apps know what to do with it (i.e. soft synths respect
pan, volume, expression, effects knobs, etc.). Very cool.
Just a "me too" on the "Evolution makes good USB/MIDI gear" bandwagon.
