Yes, we finally made it obvious (just now) in the SF CVS.... you'll
get no content and an explanatory readme now.

We are still working on getting anonymous cvs (via an ssh method) on
our new hosting.  Until that time, yes, use the CVS tarballs (and
maybe the diffs, if they're working).
