The nice thing about the MIDNAM approach is that it can be a per-track
setting.

"11" being the example for Dave's keyboard first bank+program  (midi PC
"0"). A couple of generic MIDNAMs could be used to archive the simple
task of mapping numbers to various systems (decimal, octal,
hexadecimal); start counting at 0, 1, 011(octal),.. for unknown synths,
templates or soft-synths (qsynth,AMS,... starts at "0", ardour and
yoshimi/zynaddsubfx,..  at "1").
