To give even a little more detail to what Paul did, as one of I think two
people that has ever built A3 on OS X, I can tell you that it is not
actively developed AT THIS TIME.  Also as Paul mentioned it will be actively
developed in the future, and both myself and I believe it was trutkin who
have on occasion updated A3's build system and submitted patches that have
been accepted to allow A3 to build on OS X, it is not however an easy
process and will require hacking not only on the build system but also on
the code itself.  If you feel up to it I would personally say go ahead and
submit patches, but don't expect current development efforts to concentrate
on OS X compatibility.
