Sorry for going off-topic but might this take us back to a subject we were
all discussing 6 months ago - i.e. sponsored features?  A master-track
waveform display seems like a good example of a feature that would be
incredibly useful to some users - but it's also a feature that could hamper
performance if not written efficiently.  Therefore it seems like a natural
candidate for sponsorship.  This prompted me to take a look at Mantis and
see how the feature requests (generally) have been progressing.  AFAICT,
not a single feature request has yet attracted any sponsorship at all.
Of course the monthly donations must be a welcome lifeline but let's be
realistic.  $1100 a month is disappointingly small when you consider the
sheer amount of work that must be going into Ardour now.  Is it time to
re-open the sponsorship debate?
