My trial One
Compiled successfully on:
Linux rotown 2.6.22.4 #2 SMP PREEMPT Wed Aug 22 15:49:21 CEST 2007 i686
athlon i386 GNU/Linux based on FC6.
First tests OK. First impressions: appl. reacts quicker, interface with
Jack is stable, beautiful Editor display with the meters of each track.
Plugins: LADSPA seems OK
VST insert ,activate and deactivate are working but editor crashes.
Displayed on the console:
[root at rotown ardour2]# ardourvst
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":1.0".
err:wgl:X11DRV_WineGL_InitOpenglInfo couldn't initialize OpenGL, expect
problems

The program 'ardour_vst.exe.so' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
(Details: serial 1058 error_code 8 request_code 73 minor_code 0)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
