Yes, I do, but what do you mean by more sane? The only buglet regarding 
the reset button i'm aware of is the selection of the curve points of both 
fade in and fade out. Fixing this is as simple as appending

	curve_select_clicked (current);

to CrossfadeEditor::reset () in gtk2_ardour/crossfade_edit.cc.

BTW, what's about issue 0001684?
