That issue is due to a buggy compiler or hardware malfunction.

If you try running scons again a few times and the same issue comes up
every time, on the exactly same file: it's a compiler bug. If it
compiles the file correctly (but might give the same error again on a
different file) then you have hardware issues, most likely bad memory.
