OK guys, hold up and kill this digressed OT thread I started, please.

Yes X windows will be used and is proper.
No, clipping the X feed will usually not kill the app, but I'll be wireless.
Yes there's stage access, protected and  a warm body available.

No NX, (though an improvment)
No VNC, was a "remote sin" to use this acronym.
