fed to the reverb, and whatever comes out is also stored on this buffer
(or whatever). The next time the transport is stopped/start this louder
buffer is again fed to the effects and the noise is louder, and so on
and so forth. After 5 or 6 tries the overload indicator in the output
master goes up to 100's of dB's :-)

Too bad. I'm hesitant to release beta30 to Planet CCRMA users with this
problem. It kind of makes ardour unusable. 

BTW, this was not a big session and the problem manifests itself
immediately, with only two tracks feeding one plugin (freeverb). I have
only tried to far on Fedora Core 3, will try again on FC4 just in case
it is a compiler problem (I doubt it). 

Otherwise beta30 looks great! (but my tests are very simplistic)
