They are not generically bindable, correct.  Right now they only
respond to their corresponding MMC commands, which you could theoretically
bind within the BCF.  I haven't had much luck doing it though...

PS -- did you see my sooperlooper comment in a previous message
i sent in the FD Tranzport thread?
