[ardour-dev] time/position/value helper missing

Paul, 

My /usr/share/fonts/[75/100]dpi/fonts.dir files have such string:

luIS24.pcf.gz -b&h-lucida-medium-i-normal-sans-24-240-75-75-p-136-iso10646-1

The font is present and visible via KFontView. So, I think my installation
is appropriate for described case. Xorg is installed (inside synced Gentoo).
Where is my fault?

apparently, the font used for the "verbose cursor" isn't available
with your X server configuration. alas, it is hard-coded into ardour
at present:

   "-*-lucida-medium-r-*-*-*-240-*-*-*-*-*-*"

if you make it available, things will work as expected. i believe.
