     moving backwards
  * edit clock set when middle-clicking to position edit cursor
  * ardour signal handler passed to FST (if VST support is used)
  * longstanding bug in handling of LADSPA plugin port values
     fixed (they are now synchronously updated before run())
  * session maintains correct notion of end point when regions
     are added and removed
