In prior versions of Ardour, it was possible to trim the begin of a<br>
region simply by click in the left half of a region, and the end when<br>
clicking in the right half. It was a very good feature in compete to<br>
other DAWs. I may be happy, when this behaviour will be restoring in the<br>
next bugfix.<br></blockquote><div><br></div><div>While not commenting on the report, try using the 'J' and 'K' shortcuts to trim the region (J == trim start to edit point, K == Trim end to edit point).</div><div><br></div><div>I usually do this anyways myself as I find it quicker to be able to trim/split/etc using the keyboard shortcuts combined with the appropriate edit point.</div><div><br></div><div> Seablade </div></div></div></div>
