This is the standard colour scheme -- I think I'll probably change
the "audio track base" background colour from the blue to either a
neutral grey or maybe even a very dark green. <br>
<br>
I have, however, turned on "color regions using their track's
colour" and turned both the "waveform colour gradient depth" and
"timeline item gradient depth" to maximum.<br>
<br>

It installed without any problems and runs fine here,
so far, on UbuntuStudio 14.04-1.<br>

It's always a bit of a shock, opening for the first
time. But after about 20 minutes I'm already used to
the new look and A3 is starting to look a bit tired by
comparison -- the gradients are lovely and make it
really nice to look at.<br>
<br>
I've not had chance to look at much, but already the
gridlines seem far more robust -- I always had
problems in A3 with gridlines vanishing as the
playhead scrolled along, or when zooming, but I've not
had that happen at all so far in A4.<br>
<br>
Can't wait to see the official documentation for the
full rundown of all the changes. Many, many, many
thanks to all who have contributed to this. <br>
