I didn't use automation for now. But I did a mix of the drums and DSP load is about 60%. So I hopefully can reduce that load for recording the other instruments without xruns.<br>
<br>
Not that good recorded drums so I used to have many plugins switched on.<br>

    There were issues with the freeze function and automation being
    ignored during freezing, which I reported back around the time of
    rc3 and A3.0. However, I have (literally) today been notified by
    Mantis that it's been resolved, which is excellent news. Apparently
    the fix should be in the next release, so depending on what you're
    doing it's possible that freeze might not function correctly until
    then.<br />

            I remember Cubase SX3 where there was one. It's to save the
            current track in its actual mixing state and the single
            whole track will be converted into a wav-file. Plugins are
            disabled then and you only can do things like fader or fader
            automation.<br />
            It's just to save DSP load in big projects.<br />
