<div dir="ltr">As a pretty long time reader and (unfortunately) rare speaker to conversation on this list, I must say this thread is painful to read. Ignorance only scratches the surface.<div><br></div><div>After reading through all that bullshit I think it is important to hijack this thread (just for a sec) and sing some praise to Paul and crew for all the hard work they do, not to mention the unfathomable amount of patience it must take to answer these questions, with class. I love this software (and this list) and use it all the time. I have learned a TON just reading through Q&A's between us users and Paul and crew. To come here and insult just blows my mind. </div>

<br></div><div>"Hi, I'm really interested in helping people who want to use Ardour with multiple cheap (USB) audio interfaces. It doesn't seem very easy right now to do this sort of thing - in fact, I'm not even clear if it is possible - and I'd appreciate some guidance because I think this is really important group of people: folks that can't afford multichannel interfaces and lots of amps, the sort of people who might really be attracted to a tool like Ardour.<br>
