There are no plans to add signal processing settings to the

unwieldy and hard to use. Editing undo and Mixing undo are
really separate beasts and should not be intermingled.
Hi

I just started using ardour again, and have some
observations that I hope it's ok I share.

First thing that strikes me again and again is that not
everything can be un-done in ardour. A few important ones
could be 1) moving a fader and 2) recording (in write mode,
move slider) automation.

If this is not already planned, I hope it could be taken
into consideration.

On countless occasions I accidentally grabbed the wrong
fader for adjustment, just to learn that instead of doing
what I had in mind, I just ruined the level of another
track. It really destroys the work flow (now I have to think
about this tracks level again) and makes me over-cautious
when working with ardour.

I agree. if your workflow had been edit mix edit edit mix edit mix
mix... and you undo back to the first edit then you've trashed your
mixer settings. i much prefer no mixer undo than have it bound to
edit undo. also, especially if a mix sounds really good, make a
snapshot. 2c.
