yes I know <hangs head in shame> -- I badly need to update
Ubuntu, Ardour and Pd<br>
which I plan on doing in December after my fall European tour<br>
and since I use Ardour for performing I don't want to update just
before going on the road<br>
is there a deb of the most recent version or do I get a recent version
upstream via Canonical?<br>

I select a region or a track, select Spectral Analysis<br>
up comes a window with nothing in the track or show part of the window<br>
and no matter what I select in the radio buttons nothing displays in
the spectral window<br>
what am I doing wrong here?<br>
