Well it does say their repos are AMAZINGLY out of date if that was the most recent version. Holy crud. Check <a href="http://getdeb.net">getdeb.net</a> and see if they might have a more recent version there.<br><br> Seablade<br>

I should probably mention that I did also try uninstalling the one I built and downloaded the older version from the repos (2.3.1) and still encountered the same problem. Not sure if this will help pinpoint the issue.<div class="im">

I recently updated my Ubuntu distro from Gutsy to Hardy and when I rebuilt Ardour 2.8 there seems to be something missing from the GUI. There are no wavefroms and the location marker/ tempo area is blank as well. I am a complete noob so this could be something very simple but I can't figure it out, I believe I downloaded all the necessary GTK packages from Synaptic. Attached is a screenshot. Any help is greatly appreciated.<br>
