I teach music in a high school in Brooklyn. (bushwickleaders.org) It's a fairly rough neighborhood with lots of gang activity and significant crime. As a new teacher this year I experienced some many trials and tribulations with my students. A little way through the year I introduced my students to Ardour and began showing them how to record themselves using it on both OSX and Linux. They couldn't get enough. Instead of them tearing the door of my classroom off (literally) the were banging it down (figuratively) to get in and record. I have logged hours and hours of recording with Ardour and I am always amazed at it's quality and stability! I can't thank you enough, folks!
