<DIV dir=ltr><FONT face=Arial size=2>by routing the bass track to a bus and putting the TAP EQ on the bus.  This seemed to work</FONT></DIV>
<DIV dir=ltr><FONT face=Arial size=2>for the first couple minutes of the song, but then it would go quiet at a specific spot (this is</FONT></DIV>
<DIV dir=ltr><FONT face=Arial size=2>reproducable because it happens at the exact same spot)</FONT><FONT face=Arial size=2>.  I watched </FONT></DIV>
<DIV dir=ltr><FONT face=Arial size=2>the CPU usage which stayed around 68% idle, so there didnt appear to be any denormalizing.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV dir=ltr><FONT face=Arial size=2>I also use the TAP Dynamics for noise gating on other tracks and that works fine.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><BR>I have experienced the same problem.  I doubt it is denormalling, as I have had that problem with CAPS plugins and it brings the computer to a standstill.  I think it must lose it's routing/connection or something similar. <BR></DIV><BR>
