control surfaces are really the only thing fit  this "wish list".

the items in question are generally expensive and big. the main item

right now would be a Mackie Control Universal, which costs about US$1000

and is the size of a small mixing console. i think there are better ways

than tapping out the user community for cash to provide one of these to

get some work done.

If only Mackie would provide the dev team with such a surface... They

would probably sell a few more if it's perfectly supported in Ardour!

(and thus an extra advertisement for Mackie's products/brand)<br>
