Hi,

I used a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 2nd generation and Behringer ADA8000
with Linux. The ADA8000 has got a problematic power supply. If the
ADA8200 shouldn't suffer from a bad power supply, it's in combination
with the Focusrite a not too expensive 16 channel solution. I can't
comment on the 18i20 4th generation. The audio quality of the Focusrite
Scarlett 2nd generation and the Behringer ADA8000 is comparable to
Envy24 pro-sumer devices, not as good as professional devices like those
from e.g. RME. After years I'm still using the old Focusrite Scarlett
18i20 2nd generation without ever having to repair it, nowadays for an
iPad Pro.

To sync both you should consider to use word clock. In addition to the
the 75 Ohms BNC cable you likely still need a BNC T Connection and a BNC
75 Ohms resistor.
