[Ardour-Users] Lexicon Omega

Hi again Suse and all other listmembers :o)

I'm a kind of desperated cause i tried to get my

lexicon omega to show up all four capure channels it provides.

Sure, i know this not an ardour problem,

but i hope to find someone who can give me useful hints what's going wrong.

As i wrote before i wanna use jack (which is a good tool to get all

audio ins and outs configured proper).

During the weekend i upgraded from ubuntu 18.04lts to 20.04lts

threw away the hwe-things i installed to have a 5.x-Kernel (in 18.04).

Everythings fine .. no problems during or after update.

So, i try to show what's going on (my language is german and so the

screenshots show german words :-).

Seems to be okay, omega is found.

In qjackctl i can see (but not printscreen)

hw: Omega  Lexicon Omega (hw:1)

hw: Omega,0 USB Audio (hw: 1,0)

hw: Omega,1 USB Audio (hw: 1,1)

So i choose !"hw: Omega  Lexicon Omega (hw:1)"

cause i want the whole device and not subdev 0 or 1

Konfiguration now looks like this:

After starting with qjackctl

i see this in the connections-window and there's no capure_3 or _4

I attached whats shown in the message window

(as it's a long log).

Can anybody please tell me what's wrong

Thanks and best regards

Harry
