[Ardour-Users] automatable tape-recorder like playback speed?

strange - i tried it both ways, with 'minimize time distortion' checked 
and unchecked, but with identical results.

i'm running ardour 5.12.0 on a macbook pro (el capitan). maybe it's a 
version issue?
