[Ardour-Users] GUI toolkit support

I've been watching the Sonoj Convention vids and there was a comment on one
about a future version of Ardour not supporting plugin support for gtk, qt etc.

Is this a case of not supporting *specific* features, or will all plugins have
to conform to some other standard?

... Or have I simply misunderstood what was said
(always a possibility!)
