[Ardour-Users] Ardour 5.6 moves MIDI notes to the left?

Ardour carries out a process we call "alignment" when capturing data, which
typically means moving it a little earlier than the time at which is was
capture, to compensate for latency in the data pipeline that exists between
your hard disk storage and actual audio. It is a very complex system, much
more complex than most users would likely guess, and the behaviour varies
depending on the I/O connectivity of the track in question. If a track is
connected to actual hardware, the alignment process is different than if
the track is wired only to software sources.

So .. (1) what buffer size are you using (2) are you using Pianoteq as a
standalone synth or as an LV2 plugin, and if the former, how are you
bridging MIDI into Ardour?
