And it requires work.  Sometime ago I could not make difference between
some compressor settings, now I can hear them.  Hearing differences
such as the ones mentioned here and other subtleties is important since
after all it is the sum of those 'little things' that brings dimension
and warmth to a mix.  The sum of the interaction of those little
differences can even mean more than their individual components since
they influence each others' frequencies.
