hi 



there is already a way to make MIDI re-recording to 1 MIDI track, using a 2° MIDI track " as MIDI " bus . ( already discussed with Robin) you hear what was just recorded ( <=> played) + what you add...( <=>record) 
This MIDI buss could replace the 2° MIDI track "
