OK.  I guess it could be useful (not sure...).  When in the mixing
window I always use the 'home' key and space bar.  Now if this tabbed
interface allows one to jump to certain locations, by exposing the
top of the 'marker lines', then maybe.  After all, there's in most
cases, a lot of empty black space on each track in the mixer view, only
so many plugins can be plugged, so loosing screen estate in the top
part is not so bad.
