So, if you want to keep this kernel, you can only use your firewire interface through FFADO since the ALSA-firewire-sound-interface-modules inclusion started with the kernel 3.19 if I reckon correctly (which seems to be confirmed by reading at this thread : http://linuxmao.org/forumthread64456 ).
