I've tried to record the ardour's metronome, to see result.
(well, when I use my old kx12.04 still working well with my saffire :/ )
Without latency compensation: 8ms measured in ardour (damned! it's
really more than the 3.6 measured by jack?!)
With latency compensation proposed by jack (81 in each in and out): 2ms
With more +162, added to input, or distributed to in and out (so 121IN
and 122OUT): 0ms
cf screenshot.
So I'll use 121IN and 122OUT for my device.
