As the Ardour manual mentions, the MIDI notes can be copy/pasted.  What
I am looking for is rather a copy/paste per note number across an
entire track.  Eg. selecting manually a steady bass drum over an
8-minute track is I suppose doable, if nothing else, but then it gets a
tad more complicated when selecting only MIDI note number 47 when there
are lots of neighbouring notes around (44, 45, 46, 48, 49, 50,
etc...) and at that, dragging the mouse over 8 minutes worth.
