I can confirm the above now by simply doing the same under Bitwig, in
which case all computer keyboard keys are transmitted to the plugin.
Same with a VST synth plugin like ACE or Bazille: opening a patch
browser and trying to navigate using the computer keyboard does not
work in Ardour, but does in Bitwig.
