At first I thought that a manager would be overhead overkill although
now it seems that a specific managemnt would be needed to handle
various use cases.

I guess the aim would be to have the basic idea combined with some form
of management in such a way that it remains fresh and easily lending
its way to different use cases wihtout having all the heavy and
negative sides of management :)
